Grain Belt to Launch 16oz Can during Community Pub Crawl
The August Schell Brewing Company announced today the launch of the Grain Belt Nordeast 16oz can. The release of the can is marking the second anniversary since Nordeast hit the market. The brewery will be releasing the new package on April 7th in a community-wide pub-crawl in Northeast Minneapolis. The 16oz package will only be available in Northeast Minneapolis on April 7th, and will be released statewide the following week.
“The release of Grain Belt Nordeast has been quite the ride here at the brewery,” said president Ted Marti. “The support of this brand by consumers has been truly astounding. Because of the demand for Nordeast, we wanted to offer a variety of packaging to better suit our consumers’ needs. To stay true to tradition, we will first offer the 16oz to Northeast Minneapolis in honor of Grain Belt’s roots.”
Much like the release of the brand in 2010, the package will be available only in the Northeast community on April 7th. To kick off the new package, the August Schell Brewing Co will be hosting a community wide pub-crawl, open to the public. Those who successfully complete the crawl qualify to win exclusive Nordeast gear. The crawl will wrap at Mayslack’s Bar in Northeast Minneapolis with the after party, which is also open to the public. For more details about the crawl go to www.grainbelt.com.
